Monocle

I have a strange desire
One that really lights my fire
I know you think I joke
But I really want to poke
   your eye out

I know you need your glasses
So you can read in all your classes
I think you're really cute
But Im very sure you'd suit
   a monocle

So you'd lose an eye
An empty socket doesn't cry
It might seem really mean
But have you ever seen
   a monocle?

You could hang it on a chain
People'd assume you are a brain
I think it would be fun
Watch it glisten in the sun

You would stand out in the crowd
Say it loud and and say it proud
I want to wear
   a monocle
